Cass earns an Honorable Mention on her NSF GRFP application!
Meers Lab PhD student Cass Pitts was recognized with an Honorable Mention on her application for the Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) from the National Science Foundation (NSF)! The NSF GRFP is a prestigious, highly competitive fellowship intended to fund new PhD students exhibiting both high scientific aptitude and a commitment to making scientific research more equitable and accessible to all. Cass’s proposal sought to use epigenomic techniques to better understand how transcription factors navigate chromatin landscapes with the help of ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complexes.
